Skywing Edge 540 67"
This is an awesome bird built from Balsa and CF. You can literally have it built and up in the air an hour after unboxing with the PNP Version.
I am running an FrSky Tx Rx with redundancy using 1x SR10 Pro on 2.4ghz and 1x R9 on 900mhz via sbus for a backup. This Rx is discontinued so in the future I will probably use the TD SR18 because Tandem is KING!
I have 1x 2s LiFe battery at storage voltage plugged into the SR10 for battery redundancy.
The Skywing ESC has a built-in BEC outputting 7.4v, so the RX will take the higher voltage. However, if my Flight pack dies or burns up, the LiFe will take over, and I will still have control of my servos.
One aspect of this build that's really nice is the quick connectors in the wing designed so the canopy will not go on if you forget to engage the wing screw latches.
