Could it be lighter without all the TPU and such? yeah, of course.
Could've i gone with 1604's instead of 1804's? most likely.
Personally, what matters for me is that in its current configuration, it flies really nicely with both the smaller and larger batteries.
Currently it's setup to use the RC Link through the O3 Air Unit (i got the FPV RC3 as i also have a little tiny baby DJI NEO that i fly in manual mode, its not nearly as powerful as the Volador, but its good fun in its own right!), but i am planning to switch it over to ELRS in the not too distant future.

My Very first Foray into FPV Quads.
