Description

For my second full build I. The world of Touring Cars at 1/10 scale I'm building an Iris Racing ONE.05... I chose it over the newest ONE.1 because of the $200 difference. Lol

This kit is way more complex and interesting than the entry level TT-02R custom build I've been working on.

The things like 3 belt design belt drive and the torsion pushrod style dampers/suspension are why I chose this kit over something like X-Ray, Xpress, Schumacher, or other competition level touring cars.  I like weird and quirky things and I love the building process as much, if not more, than driving!

I'll add and a update this post as I get more done!

* The last 5 images are the actual dampers used in this chassis.  No spring/coilovers style dampers/shocks here.  I'm curious to see how these handle I er standard spring and oil filled shocks at high speed.

* This build is using a Castle Mamba X SCT ESC and 1410 3800kv motor to see what baseline speed and handling characteristics are like.  This will be used on a tarmac surface to compare to my custom TT-02R Speed Run Project.
