Iris Racing ONE.05 (update with more photos)

I was going to update my original post, but I've already got the max images allowed per post.  But I'm way too excited about this build that I couldn't avoid sharing the progress!  

The images are pretty much where it's at.  I got it all together and had a few bugs to workout.  But after all the shakedown bugs, I got this up to full throttle for a second or two, just to make sure everything was tight and not binding, or something.

Currently I'm using some of my Tamiya mod.6 gears for testing.  It is a 68t spur (my 64 wouldn't fit the spur Iris holder) and a 33t pinion.  I have some 64p gearing in the way.  But my aMain order got delayed. 

With my Hobbywing setup I was able to get ~86mph with load it or in the ground.  Yeah, it's not realistic, but I wanted to just know for my own giggles. Lol

My Tamiya TT-02R project is aiming for over 100mph.  I've gotten a test bench run like I did with the Iris, of 102.0 mph.  But that's with no friction, wind resistance, etc.  So yeah, not an accurate real world speed.  I get the info from my Hobbywing MAX10 80amp ESC with the OTA Bluetooth programming module.

I have a Castle Link kit coming to program this Mamba X SCT ESC.  I also am running the Castle 1410 3800kv motor.  Vs the Hobbywing MAX10 80amp G2 ESC and 5700kv motor.

With the high gearing I'm running, I need more low-end grunt to push the gears without heating up too much.  

I'm going to get a GPS data logger soon so I can actually measure ground speed.
