RC Jet Boat build. 3d design uptade(mostly done.

I'd like to build a dual engine 28x7in jet boat based off the VR 32 and Cigarette Top Gun 38. My initial plan was to use a quinrun 88 dual motor esc and 2 12t motors run by my 2 2s traxxas lipos. I was told that it would be better to go brushless by reddit but I thought I'd ask a dedicated rc forum. I want this boat to stay under about 300usd and go about 40mph but not above 50. I was curious what esc/motor combos would be best if I were to go brushless or if brushed is fine. I was also curios what controller would be best.

edit 1): Im mostly done with the shape. the only thing left is thickness, the console area which will have a door leading to the batery compartment, the other hatches and the swim deck. Suggestions are welcome and any advice is wanted (as  for the desgin/how to make the doors and such)
