Magura V7 1/15 Scale model

Hi there :) 

I recently built and published a 1/15 sclae model of the Ukrainian Navys Magura V7 Unmanned Surface Vessel a.k.a. Sea drone. I chose it's Surface to air configuration as there was a photo and short Video clip available on the news at the time.

I designed the model completely from scratch in Inventor 2024, split it in easily printable parts that fit most 3d printers build volume, printed them and while building I recorded a complete build along video (english).

The boat is 59cm long to fit in Standard 60x40 Euroboxes for easy transport and storage. Some highlights are a fully printed rudder assembly, and a watertight Canope thats bolted down toolless (One antenna has an internal m5 nut that connects to a threaded rod integrated in the hull).

The boat is propelled by two Graupner Speed 550 motors driving 6mm reve screws. I could not test the full speed yet since I only had srews with the same rotation direction at hand at the time (the counter rotating ones were not delivered yet)  and the boat would start to heel heavily at half power. 

Nonetheless it handles really well and looks realistic in the water, well as much as one can tell by the few seconds clip available of the original :D 

With this project done I starded t develop an adjustable RC car trailer to pull this boat. I will release it once it's done.
