Top Flite P-47 giant scale
Description
This is my TopFlite giant scale P-47 Thunderbolt that was kit built and covered with flight metal done by Dean Sala. I then purchased the model from him and did a full re-haul on it. I installed a brand new DLE-65cc 2 stroke engine with a jtec compact wrap around muffler. The plane was painted using rust oleum 2X cover to get the Chataqua livery provided by Callie graphics. The plane uses savox 1270TG servos on most control surfaces and utilizes a Tech aero IBEC for the engine ignition. The model also uses Robart pneumatic retracts. Fueling the the dle 65cc engine is a 24oz Aj aircraft fuel tank with Redline synthetic 2 stroke oil at 32:1. Controlling the plane I am using a spektrum NX8 transmitter bound to a sprektrum AR8360T+ AS3x reciever with an additional srlx2 satellite
The model in total with fuel weighs 30lbs and has a wingspan of 85in
