Align Ball Link Plier
About this part

Sloppy assembly and finish. Ends of pliers did not line up right. Grooves in plier tips were burred, sharp, and badly marred my ball links. It took a bit of work with my flex shaft drill to clean up the burs and sharp edges. I thought Align would have made a better product than this, especially for the price I paid.
Poor quality. Had to grind up the larger ball opening to avoid that the link balls get stuck when popping them off. Metal is soft and the thin ends of the pliers bend during use (have to bend them back from time to time); it seems like a question of time before they break. I do not recommend to buy, especially at this price.
Poor quality and usability. Pin gets in the way, when trying to snap ball link back on a ball. Thus one needs to be careful not to damage plastic ball link with the pin. Metal is so soft and the thin ends of the pliers bend during use and there is already visible crack in one of the ends. Do not recommend to spend money on this item.
These pliers are trash, about a year into using them the tips broke off.
Complete garbage. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money. The metal of the pliers is so soft that the pliers just bend without performing or functioning properly. Manufacturer should be embarrassed to market such junk.
All six reviews are one star and report the Align Ball Link Plier as poorly made. Reviewers describe rough, burred grooves and sharp edges that can mar ball links, and say the pliers' ends did not line up properly. Several note that the soft metal bends during use, with one reporting tips that broke after about a year. Reviewers also cite a pin or screw that gets in the way when snapping links on, and one says the larger ball opening had to be ground down because links stuck. Several mention the price as poor value. All reviews are for the same product, and the criticisms are consistent across them.
