This starter destroyed my one way starter bearing on the third time starting after a new build.
Waste of money, purchase two of these and the oneway bearing went out on both of them. The bearing fail locking itself to the shaft and then destroy the shaft. The whole thing gets stuck on the starter and you can’t remove the shaft from the starter body. This is such a disappointing product. Mark my words stay away from from this starter.
This is the second one I purchased. The first one served me well until someone decided they needed it more than I. This is a great starter that needs no cables, is well built, durable and very smooth operating. It’s a flight line plus for both nitro or gas helicopters and nitro planes.
I'm satisfied with this product.I'm very happy with Amaine Harvey's kind service and very quick delivery is laudable. The packaging and condition of the product was very good, and if you buy it again, I'll do it at Amain hobbies.
hi ive had one of these starters and i think that there not yp to the job starting heli 90 size and over ok for 50 size engines
