About this part
This is the APC 12x8.5 Folding Electric Propeller. APC propellers are manufactured using a pultrusion process which allows for a higher fiber (60%) to resin (nylon binder) density. This provides substantially higher strength and stiffness than glass-filled nylon. The additional stiffness is beneficial to control vibration resonance response. The higher strength allows the use of thinner cross-sections, beneficial to weight and aerodynamic efficiency.
Features:
- Computer-optimized design gives these props a thinner profile and more "bite" with less noise
- Lightweight molded nylon construction reduces rotating mass for higher output and longer life
- Reinforcing fibers help maintain true, constant pitch at any RPM
Specifications:
- Propeller Diameter: 12in (304.8mm)
- Pitch: 8.5in (215.9mm)
- Hub Diameter: 1.77in (44.958mm)
- Hub Thickness: 0.39in (10mm)
- Shaft Diameter: 0.23in (6mm)
- Weight: 0.74oz (20.98g)
- Rotation: CCW (Standard/Tractor)
