Broke one on first run, wasn't even bashing. Just checking the grip of my new tires, didn't make it through the first pack and didn't even leave the ground once.

Mold Injected Metal (MIM) parts. Mine broke front just installing the grub screw. Cracked down the middle.

they've worked well for me on my vorteks so far. they do seem kind of crappy at first glance but while bashing they do perfectly fine. I will say, though, the clamping screw is a weird size and I had some trouble findng an Allen key that worked.

They fit and work perfectly. They make it so you have way more tire options.

What reviewers say

Reviewers are split on these 12mm metal wheel hexes for Arrma models. Two verified owners reported breakage: one hex broke on the first run before the vehicle left the ground, and another cracked during installation while tightening the grub screw. Both broken parts were described as failures of the MIM construction. A third reviewer found them adequate for bashing on a Vortex and noted the clamping screw uses an unusual size that required a specific Allen key. A fourth reviewer reported they fit and work well and widen tire options. Overall, the main recurring concern is fragility, with installation and fit reported as generally acceptable.

  • + Fit well on Arrma models
  • + Hold up in bashing
  • + Wider tire compatibility
  • − Breakage on first use or during install
  • − MIM construction seen as fragile
  • − Unusual clamping screw size
