If you're ready for live action, the Freedom Flyer Grom arrives fully equipped with a dependable Spektrum electronics package designed to deliver consistent performance right out of the box. A Spektrum 380-size brushed motor provides smooth acceleration while the water-resistant Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 25A ESC and Receiver simplify the electronics layout and offer reliable operation in a variety of conditions. Steering duties are handled by a metal-geared Spektrum SX110 servo for improved durability during rough driving. The included Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter features selectable 50%, 75%, and 100% throttle limits, making it easy for beginners to build confidence while still offering full performance when they're ready. A Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery, USB-C charger, and AA transmitter batteries complete the package for genuine ready-to-run convenience.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. I do have a bunch of RC trucks and cars myself. So I purchased this knowing that he would enjoy the hobby as much as I have. The truck is well-made. Solid chassis. Looks like it's built to take some serious abuse. Should be perfect for a first time owner.????
This is by far the coolest, and toughest grom to date! I had to get another gorgon just for the body. It's a very beautiful body, matching wheels and springs. Same toughness and fun factor as the original gorgon grom. Hopefully they come out with just the body so I can buy one for backup. If you don't have a gorgon grom this can be a great first one or second - third one. Plenty of speed already but I'm craving for brushless power.
