About the Gorgon 2WD
Chassis & Suspension
The composite chassis is built with famous ARRMA bash-it-all durability. The independent suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. Adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance for uneven surfaces. Need to change batteries? The bottom loaded battery design lets you do it fast, without removing the body.
Drivetrain
Factory assembled and installed, the ARRMA GORGON monster truck transmission sends power from the included MEGA 550 14T brushed motor to the rear wheels using a durable, brushless-ready drive line. The transmission is tough enough to handle brushless motors whenever you want to upgrade.
Electronics
The included Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio helps you learn control skills safely by limiting maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you’re ready to unleash it all. Bash without worry in wet conditions - the Spektrum 2-in-1 ESC/receiver unit, now upgraded to 40A, and high-torque Spektrum S660 steering servo are both waterproof. he included Spektrum Smart 7-cell NiMH battery begins safe charging automatically when connected to the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart Charger. When it’s time to upgrade for more bashing power, the charger and Spektrum 2-in-1 25A ESC/receiver unit are already compatible with optional 2S Smart LiPo batteries (LiPo batteries not included).

Extremely durable and fun. Playing with a traxxas stampede brushed it was side by side on 2s lipo. Took it to the park with my son and there was a kid who wanted to play with it too… I put it on 50% mode with ease on the controller switch and they both had a lot of fun together for over 20 mins… that’s what it’s all about guys!!! he ran it into trees and walls etc lol it took it all… this thing is very strong and I’m glad I bought it. My son made a new friend and the arrma gorgon took everything thrown at it by a new driver… I highly recommend it to anyone!
Picked up a couple of these for my boys. Great starter truck, they've taken a bit of a beating already too, the power selection switch is great for learning. Pick yourself up a couple extra batteries and you can have fun for a while.
For the price point this is the best RC Monster truck you can buy. The handling, durability, and performance on 2s is plenty of power. It doesn't have killer top end speed but it's not what it's about and that's not what makes this truck so fun.
I love love love this beauty, smoked through 3 2s packs, installed a castle sidewinder 4 basher edition esc and 4600kv and smile at every throttle cracked wheelie, installed the granite rear bumper and wow holy moly it is so much better now 10/10
