I bought this for my son and from that perspective, this truck is great. It looks great. It’s easy to use. It wheelies. It jumps. It has surprisingly agile handling. It is built like a tank. It’s the perfect size for the yard and has enough tire and ground clearance for grass. If I bought this truck for me, and held it to higher expectations, I’d complain about under damped shocks from the factory, a front bumper that loves to lawn dart, electronics that get hotter than id like under seemingly normal use (widespread rtr issue), and the fact that the body gets major tire rub at full steering lock and any amount of suspension compression.
Great car definitely runs hot right out of the box . Stock tire are absolutely no good didn’t make it through the first battery before the front two blew out simultaneously, knew I should’ve stiffened up the front shocks figured it be fine given the car is pretty nice out of the box . Also I am running 3s I’m sure it’d be fine running 2s but what’s the fun in that . Well here’s to another 100 bucks on some new tires love the hobby so I’ll never stop but wish it came with better tires definitely gonna try belted , also front steering knuckles already have rub wear on them guess that’ll be next to upgrade.
