Same as originally installed on the Mojave grom. The same internal gears that stripped last time are still plastic on this replacement. It will get me back up and running for now.

Disappointed. The description is misleading and false. Should state; Direct replacement OEM equipment. You're led to believe it's an upgrade. Just got a replacement and got two runs before the internal PLASTIC gear turned to mush. Needs a steel side gear instead of a plastic one.

Not bad BUT plastic gear inside was strip already on my Mojave Grom

What reviewers say

Three reviewers report that this differential replacement uses plastic internal gears, the same design as the original part on the Arrma Grom. Two reviewers say the gears stripped or failed after very few runs, one of them after two runs, and one describes it as a like-for-like replacement that will keep the vehicle running for now. One reviewer criticises the listing for implying an upgrade, and states that a steel side gear is needed. Reviews are few and concern the same recurring issue, so the picture is consistent but limited.

  • + Direct fit replacement for original Grom differential
  • + Restores vehicle to running condition
  • − Internal gears are plastic and strip quickly
  • − Fails after only a few runs
  • − Listing implies an upgrade over the original part
