I'd really love to give this 5 stars but there's a few things that are less than perfect about my mini Kraton. To start with the positives: this thing is an absolute BEAST! Being able to switch between "adrenaline mode" and "chaos mode" on the fly is a pretty amazing feature, I enjoy being able to nerf its power down to a very manageable level for my kids and engage chaos for myself. The DCS (basically gyro function) works really good for the kids too. It handles beautifully and it flys great. Plenty of power on stock electronics. And mine has withstood several super hard crashes in subfreezing temps without breaking anything. Now for the negative:I'm a Spektrum G1 user, Spektrum went proprietary with their G2 line of batteries/chargers and I absolutely do NOT trust that included USB charger to not cause a lipo fire. I'm also not interested in buying a new charging station just to play with Spectrums ecosystem. So I'll be soldering my preferred connector to continue using my existing power system. I also cannot get the Spektrum 2 in 1 esc to enter program mode. I own several Armma and I've never had an issue before the 2 in 1 systems were introduced. There's an entire Facebook group dedicated to solving Spektrum problems if you need help. So my overall rating is that this is an amazing kit that has mediocre electronics. The electronics aren't an issue if you are willing to tinker or replace them, but would be a very disappointing and frustrating experience for a first time RC owner and that's who I feel this kit is aimed at.
awesome little truggy for the kids to rip around ... and with the unlock key its fast enough for me to have fun with ... itll go thru a fresh cut yard pretty well and is actually surprisingly tough. my daughter was very happy they had the pink and teal !!!
Awesome truck was a blast on the first run. amain nailing it every time with an awesome website and on time shipping even a day early at times. Wouldn’t buy anywhere else. However the battery has been charging for 5hrs on supplied charger and has yet to fully charge. Not sure if battery or charger might be defective. Otherwise the truck itself is a blast.
It might be a little pricier than the other smaller vehicles but it's well worth the price. Bigger footprint & higher capacity lipo is just the start. Very stable and handles much better. Love the colored shocks and new chassis stiffener. Wished Amain could carry the green color with the two lips.
Great product... servo is on the weak side. Shocks are ok but need upgraded.. overhaul empresed.. great job arrma?
