About this part
6S Capable Speed Truck With Extreme Bashing Performance
The Arrma® Talion 6S BLX EXB Brushless RTR 1/7 4WD Speed Truck arrives built for extreme speed, stability, and durability. This 1/7-scale platform stretches the wheelbase for a planted feel at high speed and delivers 75+ miles-per-hour capability with 6S power. Extreme Bash (EXB) construction, V6 electronics, and a reinforced drivetrain work together to handle hard hits, sharp turns, and full-throttle runs. Whether you start on 4S or step up to 6S, the Talion is engineered to stay controlled, confident, and ready for action.
About the Talion 6S BLX EXB Speed Truck
EXB Construction for Extreme Strength
The Talion 6S BLX EXB is built around a laser-etched 7075 T6 aluminum chassis plate that forms the backbone of its rugged design. Anodized aluminum bulkheads, composite side guards, EXB shock towers, and split tower-to-tower center braces reinforce the structure from end to end. A stainless steel rear skid plate and one-piece wing mount add even more durability, helping the truck absorb repeated impacts without compromising performance. Every component is selected to withstand aggressive bashing and high-speed demands.
Heavy-Duty Drivetrain Engineering
Arrma equips the Talion with a drivetrain designed for consistent power delivery. Stronger differential outdrives, all-metal gearbox internals, and durable steel driveshafts keep the truck running smoothly under extreme loads. The anodized aluminum gearbox casing adds rigidity, while the heavy-duty drivetrain components maintain reliability during repeated high-speed passes. This setup ensures the Talion stays responsive and dependable no matter how hard you push it.
V6 Electronics & High-Speed Control
The Spektrum™ Firma 4074 2050kV Brushless Motor and Firma 150A Smart V2 Electronic Speed Control (ESC) deliver sharp acceleration and smooth throttle response thanks to updated B5.12 firmware. A dedicated heatsink and cooling fan help the motor maintain peak performance during long runs. The high-torque Spektrum S665 waterproof digital servo provides precise steering, while the SLT3 transmitter and SR315 receiver offer fast response and Smart technology compatibility. With belted tires, tuned suspension, and a high-downforce wing, the Talion stays planted even at extreme speeds.

I'm gonna give it 5 stars with one proviso. I needed to get new rims and tires, and the thing is unstoppable!! Out of the box, at least on my example, the stock rims and tires were out of round, and seemed really out of balance. To call this a "speed basher" and put such wobbly wheels on it is a bit lame. You could hear them flapping around on the road as it went by at around 3/4 throttle, yuck! Sounded like George Jetsons little putter mobile! lol Anyway, I saw online everyone putting these 4S Backflip tires on their rigs, and WHOAH!! Did THAT make the difference! That whole platform's awesome, as I also have a Typhon 6S and a Felony. (basically, the same drivetrain) Along with Kyosho Inferno, and Losi 8IGHT, this platform will be around a LONG time and people are gonna have a LOT of fun with them for years. The Spektrum electronics work very well, although I wish wish WISH they'd come out with a good line of censored ESC / Motor combos by now. The steering servo seems to be a nice heavy duty one as well, and I was surprised at it's speed and strength for an 'out of the box' unit, nice touch. With the new tires, it flies really nicely through the air, although I haven't really "Sent it" like they do online, I do have a couple jumps I like to go over, and the car proved again and again it thinks it has wings, and flies straight and true, landing shiny side up every time. although, that may be due more to my mellower driving style. ;) Anyway, other than the rims and tires on the one I got being such a bummer, This thing is WELL worth the money! All the aluminum upgrade parts are beautiful, and it's almost a sin to get it dirty, but sinnin's fun, sometimes, so yeah, let er rip! Oh, I also bound it to my Spektrum DX5 PRO transmitter and put a Gyro enabled Spektrum receiver in it as well. A little disappointed in the radio selection, for that kinda loot, would have been nice to have had the one with at least the battery telemetry. That being said, it's my ONLY Arrma car that the telemetry doesn't work with my DX5! An issue I will follow up with AMain tech support about as that was really the main reason for the electronics swap.
This car is so much fun to drive by far one of my favorite cars in my collection. FYI This thing is a rocket even without the faster pinion installed.
Absolutely love this truck, if you haven't seen my video of me sending the hell out of it go check it out at DEFCON 1 RC on YouTube. Amazing bash session
This is your sign to go ahead and get one! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!
Solid RC truck, handles like a typhon 6s on a limitless chassis. Only con is there I'd like it to be clipless like the other new models and option for stability control would be helpful on bumpy or sloped situations I feel like I'm constantly messing with steering trim. BTW this thing is wild on powerhobby 3.8 rooster paddle tires.
Reviewers broadly praise the Arrma Talion 6S BLX EXB RTR for its speed, stability and handling, with several noting it feels planted and responsive, and that it performs well for bashing and jumping. Several owners say the stock wheels and tires are the main weak point, with one reporting out-of-round, unbalanced rims and others replacing them with aftermarket tires that improved air control and appearance. One reviewer reported a faulty servo out of the box that the seller replaced. A minority want stability control or clipless wheels, and one noted constant steering trim adjustment on bumpy or sloped terrain. Opinions on air control vary, with some finding it limited.
- + Fast and powerful drivetrain
- + Stable, planted handling
- + Good grip and steering response
- + Strong performance for bashing
- − Stock wheels and tires look poor
- − Out-of-round or unbalanced stock rims
- − Limited air control out of the box
- − Requires steering trim on bumpy terrain
