Arrma Typhon 6S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy (Red/Black) (V5) w/SLT3 2.4GHz Radio
About this part
"Purchased the Typhon 6s after buying the Kraton 6s. Man the Typhon is a blast to drive. Hugs the road well on any surfaces so far. 10 packs through the car so far and no issues. Diffs were shimmed correctly out of the box, however the fluid in the front and rear was a bit low. Very happy with the purchased, super fast shipping from AMain to boot!" - Alex - Verified Owner

Performance Built Chassis
An Updated, chassis features a wider rear section with 3D formed areas leading to extreme rigidity and strength. Easy Access components such as differentials and electronics make tuning and maintenance a breeze. Furthermore, the suspension geometry has been given a refresh and makes for less exposed shock towers protecting the shocks from bending. These come together to give you a chassis focused on performance and durability!
Powerful Electronics
To unlock the full potential of the Typhon 6S, Arrma dropped in the Spektrum Firma 150A Smart ESC and the brutal Firma 4074 2050kV brushless motor. Both 6S capable, the ESC features adjustable settings to allow for different punch, brake, reverse speed, motor timing, and more. This is my second Arrma. I have a V2 Infraction and wanted something that I could take anywhere. Wow!!! This thing is awesome!!! I'm so glad I didn't get a Mojave. The Typhon is fast, nimble and is a flier. If you can swing the $500. go for it. My wife literally called it a "giggle machine". Edit: This is a year and a half later. A month ago my ESC died. Horizon hobby sent out a new one right away. My experience with HH support has been outstanding. 2 year warranty. Can not be beat!

Great buggy the arrma typhon! Very fast out of the box! Drives an handles good ,only thing I did was put on a motor fan.Definitely recommend!
Love the Updates! The new electronics from spectrum are a big improvement over the old units, and they were great. And they fixed the low-end cogging that some of the older blx models had. The model hits the claimed speeds with ease (unlike some models where you can push and get 'close'). Plus, even on the 20T pinion, still runs cool after multiple speed passes. A solid buggy with quality that far exceeds it's price! -one note, the body is still drilled for the pass-through antenna even though the antenna has been moved to the inside not requiring the hole.
Awesome buggy very fast super easy to fly off big ramps only issue I had was motor mount bolts were loose on the bottom stock tires have very little traction in clay dirt proline badlands were amazing on this probably one of my new favorites
Reviewers broadly rate the Arrma Typhon 6S BLX V5 highly, praising its speed, handling, and durability across bashing, street, and speed-run use, with many running it on 6S. Several note it is fast out of the box and holds up to crashes and jumps. Recurring points of criticism are stock tires with limited traction in some dirt, loose motor mount bolts on one unit, and a few reports of a failed ESC or servo, with one owner reporting a slow warranty experience. One reviewer found that some 6S packs do not fit under the body, and another said the stock tires blew out on 6S. Some reviewers mention upgrades such as belted tires or thicker differential fluid. Most reviews are verified, and several reference the retailer AMain Hobbies favourably for shipping.
