About the Vorteks 223S BLX
Advanced Electronics & Brushless Power
The Vorteks 223S BLX comes equipped with high-quality Spektrum electronics, including a powerful 3100kV brushless motor and an 80A two-in-one ESC and receiver unit that's water resistant for reliable performance on any terrain. This setup enables exceptional speeds on a 2S battery and even higher top speed thrills with 3S power, giving you control over how fast you go. With Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) offering four selectable modes, drivers can benefit from automated steering corrections on various surfaces, increasing control and confidence.
Heavy-Duty Drivetrain & Center Differential
Built tough for bashing, the Vorteks 223S BLX features a super-strong 4x4 drivetrain with a center differential and metal gears to ensure durability under extreme conditions. The all-metal gear differential efficiently transfers power to the wheels, enhancing traction and stability during high-speed runs. This drivetrain is engineered to endure challenging terrains, while the center differential distributes power evenly, providing the ideal balance for stadium truck performance.

Giving this a 3 star due to esc thermal shutdown on 3s out the box Just got this the other day, first run about 10 mins on a 5000mah 3s batt and the esc did a thermal shutdown and again the next day, Hoping its just overgeared I have a smaller pinnion ordered so ill update when that gets in and tested. It was fun to bash around during the two 10 min runs, drove nice, has awesome power from a 3s Update: 15t pinnion and a better esc fan and the esc stopped overheating, motor and esc are still hot but no esc shutdown
This is my first hobby grade rc car. It's really fast and more durable than I thought. I did hit a curb at like 25 mph and broke the bottom of the shock, and it ripped the bottom shock mount screw through the bottom of control arm. I was very surprised that I didn't break more considering how fast I hit the curb. I think I like this more than my FPV drones.
Awesome cuatomer service, fast shipping. The r/c its awesome i liked it so much. Its pretty fast out of the box. I recommend users to get the 3s battery and start with 50 to 75% of power so you get use to the feel and speed
Three verified owners of the teal Arrma Vorteks 223S BLX truck report generally positive experiences, praising its speed, power on 3S, and durability in one crash. One reviewer reported ESC thermal shutdowns during the first runs on 3S with a 5000mAh pack; after switching to a smaller 15T pinion and a better ESC fan, the shutdowns stopped, though motor and ESC still ran hot. Another praised the customer service and shipping. Reviewers also note the truck is quite fast out of the box, and one suggests starting at 50 to 75 percent throttle. Overall sentiment is positive, but the overheating issue is the main recurring concern and sample size is small.

- + Good handling and fun to bash
- + Fast shipping and good customer service
