This alignment shim ensures that the front shocks remain perfectly perpendicular to both the front arm and upper shock mount, restoring the reliable front-end feel that Avid racers have come to expect. Note: Only use this alignment shim with the kit standoffs. If you are using the Avid B7 Shock Standoffs, you do not need this part.
