About this part

Tower Overview:

Avid RC RC10B84 Forged Carbon Fiber Front Shock Tower. This is an optional forged carbon shock tower intended for the Team Associated RC10B84.

About the Shock Tower

Benefit

Designed specifically for carpet racing, the B84 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower features a -4mm geometry and is machined from 4mm forged carbon fiber. Large chamfered edges help resist splitting, while pocket lightening and cross-member supports balance weight reduction and strength. The tower retains the stock profile, ensuring compatibility with the kit shock guards. The -4mm front height was chosen based on testing that revealed excessive front uptravel with the standard setup.

Features:

  • 100% Forged 4mm thick Carbon Fiber
  • Large chamfered edges to help prevent splitting
  • More flexable than woven carbon fiber
  • Provides more isotropic strength for uniform performance in all directions

Includes:

  • (1) RC10B84 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower

Seldom do I find aftermarket parts for competition racing kits as good as this - I haven't seen such fine detail, finish, precision, and material quality since the late 1990s! Great shock tower and a direct fit for those who use longer shock piston lengths or desire more spring pre-load on their setups.
