Love the vehicle except the absolute junk esc and extremely weak servos. I expected more from Axial. I guess traxxas next time
It's ok but needs upgrades to be great and they add up quick. Lot of fun out of the box but only decent, at best, performance without upgrading.
I picked up a Scratch and Dent. It showed box damage, repackaged and new. This is not the 1st Scratch and Dent I have picked up from Amainhobbies.com. So I pulled it from the packaging, put in the included AA batteries, plugged in the lipo, and took a quick easy trail run to test all functions. Everything worked great. So far I dig the little truck. It does need weight moved down, but everyone knows that in advance. Tires are working good, servos working well, drive train is quiet. Turn radius is nice, and really good with the rear steer turned on. Looking forward to doing a few upgrades and let her do her thing. In my opinion, this is much better than the scx24 in every way.
Awesome! Love the 4WS , the articulation is very good for a 1/24 scale buggy
This 1/24 scale mini crawler is everything I expected and more, very fun rc, works great, incredible flex and articulating functions, battery charges in an hour or less, I drove it for over an hour constantly, control has multiple adjustments to fit your driving wants, the multiple maneuvers it can do gives you the ability to do various types of challenges and cool lil tricks, very satisfied with my purchase, it's well worth the price and I highly recommend it to all rc enthusiasts
Reviewers generally find the Axial AX24 XC-1 fun and capable out of the box, with praise for articulation, flex, rear-steer turning, and battery run time. The most consistent complaint is top-heavy handling caused by the high-mounted ESC and battery, with several owners saying weight needs to be moved lower. Other criticisms include weak stock tires grip, underpowered servos and motors, a disliked battery tray, and an ESC one reviewer called poor quality. Some reviewers say upgrades are needed to get strong performance. One reviewer bought a scratch-and-dent unit and reported it worked fine. Overall ratings are mostly 4 to 5 out of 5, with one 2 out of 5 review.
