Small Scale Performance Just Got Smaller - Axial SCX30
Made for extreme scale performance, the Axial SCX30 Chevrolet K10 1/30 is the next step in 4WD Mini Crawlers. Don't think this is just another micro crawler; this is a fully redesigned vehicle. With a 3-gear worm drive transmission, transverse motor, clipless hard body, factory tuning options, and so much more, this crawler brings big game to a small scale. No matter where you are crawling, desk or trail, the SCX30 gives you the platform you need to get out and have fun.
About the SCX30
Detailed Hard Body
This licensed Chevrolet K10 comes with a detailed grille, molded headlights, roll bar, side mirrors, molded chrome bumpers and so much more. The attention to detail is top-notch. The headlights and taillights are molded into the body and the chassis has the LED's attached to make the body easy to remove. ZERO body clips are used and the body comes off by pulling up on the front and sliding towards the rear for the ultimate scale realism.
Chassis & Tuning
This is not just a shrunk-down SCX24, this chassis is molded from one piece, with the skid plate being separate from the chassis. The transmission incorporates a transverse motor mount, meaning that with the motor sideways, there is more front weight on the chassis. The transmission is a three-gear design with a worm-gear driving both front and rear axles. On top of the rear axle housing, double ball-ends are used, allowing you to adjust the driveshaft angle with ease. Multiple shock mounting holes on the chassis rails give you the adjustability to refine the suspension to your liking.
Electronics
The right side molded slider has been designed to hold the receiver, esc, and on/off button all in one. This gives a super clean and compact look. The battery sitting on the left side of the chassis helps to even out the weight in the chassis. The 88T brushed motor gives plenty of power to the transmission and allows for super smooth operation. An included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter allows for easy convenient control of the SCX30.

These little 30th scale crawlers are awesome for some indoor fun during the winter months, these SCX30's are awesome right out of the box, don't see a need to do any mods at all and the price is great for $100 completely RTR. The only issue I have with the Chevy square body version is they label it as a "C10" and those years the C10's are 2wd, it should be labeled as a K10 which is 4wd.
Great little platforms for the price. Amazing looking body, though it should be badged K10. These are hands down the best stock tire/foam combo on any of them. It’s what I run on my fully decked out ‘comp’ Scx30 because they hook so well.
I don't know what happened but this is my third SCX30 after the Bronco and the Jeep. There is so many 'little' things that make this so good out of the box. For one, the steering is great and the servo not so wimpy you can't turn while in rough terrain. The design of the chassis from how the lights are on the frame not the body, the way the transmission is positioned with the motor...it just really well designed. So the star feature I think is these little hard bodies just look so awesome. The body really adds to the fun and realism. I was amazed at how well this hard body crawler could crawl as well with no modifications. My too cramped indoor SCX24 courses now have some breathing room with this scaled down crawler too.
Once again Axial has hit a homerun... this K10(body says C/10) it an improvement over the first bronco release, the tires improved on the jeeps version but i must say the tires on this K10 are the best out of the box so far. The body looks prestine and this version is also hevier than previous one. I cant wait to see what their next release gonna be... Please fix the model name on the truck it says C/10(c10 is the 2wd version)
I love this thing. It’s very small, but a blast on the counters in kitchen. Already been fussed at by wife ?
Reviewers overwhelmingly praise the Axial SCX30 Chevrolet K10 (black) as a fun, capable, well-detailed 1/30 scale crawler that performs well out of the box, with many highlighting its body detail, stock tires and value for the price. Several enjoy it for indoor use on counters, desks and couches, and some say it outperforms larger SCX24 models on obstacles. A recurring criticism, raised by multiple owners, is that the body badging reads C10 rather than K10, which is a 2WD model. One reviewer reports reverse failing shortly after purchase and a slow refund process. Other comments focus on seller service and fast shipping from AMain Hobbies, and one notes the locked 4WD gives a wide turn radius. Reviews are mostly 5-star and verified, though some are brief or off-topic.
