I bought the Fusion 360 BNF and the NX8 Transmitter from Horizon. I wanted to have a bailout function, which works, and the function of turning on SAFE in Normal mode. In stunt 1 and stunt 2 safe would be turned off. I have not been able after a month to turn SAFE on and off. The Heli instructions only shows the basic setup, and not the safe setup. You need to go into forward programing to program safe. The video Horizon refers to for doing that is not consistent with the Heli manual instructions. The controller instructions for setting Safe are inconsistent with the Controller instructions and the Heli instructions. HH tech support leaves a lot to be desired. I have had 5 or 6 helicopters from Trex 600 to blade 230, and not having much luck programing this one! If some one figures this out I would love to know. I'm updating my review from 1star to 3stars. HH has since sent me a couple of emails on how to setup the fmode switch for N=Safe,Stunt1 = safe off, and Stunt2= safe off. The documentation in the heli manual and the 6250H controller manual is lacking. Part of my problem was that forward programing needed to have hold mode on. To set Fmode in N, F1, and F2 I had to turn Hold mode off. The other thing is that I disconnected all the wires to the motor to setup safe with Forward Programing. I like the helicopter, and want to enjoy it. The HH manuals and videos are lacking in setup if you are trying to replace a servo. It's a nice heli, but you will pull your hair out trying to figure how to adjust it.
Flys great right out of the box got it in about a week thanks amainhobbies and horizon for a other great heli
was afraid it'd be underpowered on 3s, but at idle up it's got some power. rolls and inverted flight are amazingly easy with the flight controller they use. tail was steady out of the box. great helicopter for learning 3d. I am going to buy a second one soon.
This is a nice Heli. It seems that it flies great and I hope going flying it soon. Weather is not at best condition but I'll fly as soon as possible. It looks great.
Totally blown away! This is the nicest product, by far, Blade has ever made. Everything about it is exceptional. Carbon fiber, main frame, the oversized tail boom the fiberglass canopy! Everything about the Fusion 360cp is just so well put together. Definitely a 450 series in size. I cannot wait to fly it.
Reviewers largely praise the Blade Fusion 360 Smart BNF as a well-built, easy-to-fly helicopter. Owners describe good out-of-the-box stability, adequate power at idle-up on 3S, easy rolls and inverted flight, and good wind handling. Build quality, including carbon fiber components and the fiberglass canopy, is singled out, and one reviewer notes battery compatibility with the Blade 330S. One reviewer, who bought the matching NX8 transmitter, reported difficulty after a month setting up the SAFE function, citing unclear and inconsistent instructions and dissatisfaction with support. Several other reviews are brief positive comments, and one mostly describes an intent to fly rather than experience.
- + Stable tail out of the box
- + Easy rolls and inverted flight
- + Well-built with carbon and fiberglass parts
- + Good wind handling
- − SAFE setup instructions unclear and inconsistent
- − Support experience criticised
- − Modest power on 3S
