About the Revolution 90 FP
SAFE Technology
The Revolution 90 FP incorporates Horizon Hobby's exclusive SAFE technology, which significantly reduces the risk of crashing. This feature allows novice pilots to learn at their own pace, preventing overcontrol and loss of orientation. The helicopter automatically returns to level flight when control sticks are released, making it easier for beginners to gain confidence while flying.
Altitude Hold for Enhanced Control
One of the standout features of the Revolution 90 FP is its optional-use Altitude Hold mode, which automatically maintains the helicopter's altitude. This allows pilots to focus on learning cyclic and tail rotor controls without worrying about rapid altitude changes. The Altitude Hold feature not only enhances the flying experience but also helps prevent collisions with ceilings or the ground, making it perfect for indoor use.
Compact & Fully Equipped
Designed for versatility, the ultra-micro size of the Revolution 90 FP allows it to be flown in various indoor environments such as living rooms, offices, and garages. This ready-to-fly model comes complete with everything needed to take to the skies, including a Spektrum SLT6 transmitter, rechargeable LiPo battery, and a USB charger. The included transmitter can also be used with other ultra-micro aircraft, adding to the value and convenience of this exceptional helicopter.

I recently got back into rc models after doing it when I was a young man. I'm 63. I used to do this when I was in my teens. Started with rock crawling and enjoy it quite a bit. But in my younger days I used to fly both screen controlled and radio controlled airplanes. Much different than what they have now. I decided to try the blade revolution 90 because being an actual helicopter pilot it was intriguing to me. Much easier to fly the real thing. LOL. So far this thing is the most durable little RC that I have. Flight times are short yes, but practice the basics. Learn how to hover and learn orientation. That's what I'm doing. Love the simulator time! I'm going to go full time with that. Looking to grow and get into the next step. Would I recommend this, absolutely! Great starting point for flying helicopters.
This is my first hobby grade RC helicopter after flying planes and cars for years. I love it! Its perfect for when I get urges to fly and going to the RC field is impractical. The battery charges in 20 mins and I can zoom around the living room. I am getting better and better and create little challenges with it. It bounces off the walls and ceiling when you crash. I had a pretty serious crash and thought I broke the tail shaft, but the helicopter is designed to take a beating and keeps going. I tried bringing outside on a still day and I don't recommend. It drifted a bit with a slight breeze because it is so light. This chopper is for indoor fun!
This was my first heli I ever flew and was great for that. Awesome learning heli that can take many crashes. Transmitter was nicer than expected given the price point of this RTF package. Was cool that the stock transmitter can work as a controller for simulators too! Electronics in the heli are quite cheap and I ran into a lot issues after a few weeks of flying. Wish I had just bought the Nano S3 originally but it was back ordered and I wanted to fly in the garage and living room asap. Attach prayer requests to the skids if you plan on flying it outside, any wind and she'll go straight to heaven like a kite
This is by far and large the best helicopter to get back to the hobby of RC Copters. The 6-axis gyro and SAFE tech make it more relaxed, you can actually practice and learn orientation without having to worry about keeping it in the air. I know many RC Pilots will see this as an easy way out, a cheating Copter. I as someone who has enjoyed RC everything since the mid 80's find the relaxed and Tech enhanced abilities to be absolutely enjoyable, no longer wondering what a bad landing or a missed object causing a crash is going to cost me just to get the bird back it the air!!! Bravo Blade a sub $200 helicopter that can actually allow you to learn to fly properly (the left/right & forward/reverse depending on how the Copter is pointed). Heck even 1/1 helicopter have these enhancements to allow pilots to focus on more demanding situations/mission requirements without having to wonder if your pitch and RPM are up to the task. This little Copter can easily get you to the next level as long as you are flying in mostly calm air. It is very light so even a little draft/wind will force you to learn how to overcome these common events. Again A++ Blade you offered an insanely durable, stable and easy to fly helicopter for beginners. I have put 8-12 pack through this little guy in the garage and outside, have hit things when I lost orientation, crashed several times etc...Not a single thing on the Copter has broken. It will be nice getting my next adjustable pitch copter so I can ultimately concentrate on scale flying and not having to continually adjust throttle for my elevation.Very recommended for anyone that wants to get into RC Heli's. Reviewers generally rate the Blade Revolution 90 FP highly as an indoor learning helicopter, praising its durability in crashes, the SAFE assistance that helps beginners practise hovering and orientation, and its quick battery charging. One reviewer found the transmitter better than expected for the price and noted it can serve as a simulator controller. Several reviewers caution against outdoor flying, as the light airframe drifts in even slight breezes. One reviewer reported electronics problems after a few weeks of flying and suggested the Nano S3 as an alternative. Some experienced pilots view SAFE as an easier route, though others see it as a helpful training aid. The sample is small, with four reviews.
