Bob Smith Industries Insta-Set Accelerator (2oz)

Accelerator Overview:

Insta-Set™ Accelerator from Bob Smith Industries is a powerful companion to cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesives, designed to significantly speed up curing time and improve bond strength—especially with thicker applications. This spray-on catalyst promotes rapid polymerization, allowing CAs to cure in just seconds, even on tough-to-bond materials or in large gaps. Its non-damaging formula is safe for use on a wide variety of surfaces, including clear plastics and delicate foams, making it a versatile tool for modelers, hobbyists, and professionals. With its pleasant strawberry scent and ease of application, Insta-Set™ delivers both performance and convenience.

About the Accelerator

Fast, Reliable Curing for Stronger CA Bonds

Insta-Set™ enhances the effectiveness of CA glues by providing the right chemical environment for rapid curing—typically in 6 to 8 seconds. It’s ideal for reinforcing joints by allowing thick CA to be applied and immediately hardened along seams, increasing overall bond strength. For bonding tricky materials, Insta-Set™ can be used on one surface while CA is applied to the other, creating an instant hold when the parts meet. Unlike many accelerators, it maintains adhesive strength without degradation and is safe to use on foam, plastic, and other sensitive surfaces.

Features:

• Accelerates CA glue curing in 6 to 8 seconds
• Enhances joint strength when used with thick CA
• Allows instant bonding of difficult materials
• Safe for clear plastic and white foam
• Strawberry scented formula
• Compatible with all cyanoacrylate adhesives
• Easy-to-use spray bottle application
• Prevents CA from dripping or running on vertical surfaces
