It seems like quality fans run around $20 these days so getting the shroud plus two fans for $19 (September of 2024) is really cheap. It's cheap for a reason. The fans don't move much air. I have this on my Castle-converted Baja 5B and they don't improve temperatures much at all. The shroud is nice, but the fans are just kind of...meh. Some more powerful fans should really be bolted to this, but then you're basically paying $19 for a shroud. 3 stars because it doesn't hurt, but I doubt it helps much at all.
Currently using this with a 2028 motor in my absolutely nuts Baja Flux build. It helps keep motor temps down under hard sand-runs.
Will not fit a traxxas 4tec 2.0 I disassembled the unit and used the fans individually
