Has to be the best thought out ESC in terms of fitment into any vehicle. Sensor wire out the top to stay away from shafts is nice. The channel underneath to allow routing the receiver wire to either side is a great idea. And it really just feels like a quality unit. The Bluetooth app is easy enough. Now we just need to see how it holds up long term. Only 1 race on it (truggy).
Got this ESC for this years outdoor season. we are know 3 months in. I am using it in a 1 gen Sparko F8 buggy. At PNB the esc made me a believer of Cayote ESC's even tho it is not the EVO it was easy to set up using the Cayote programmer app in the playstore. got a Few tips from the Cayote team when at PNB. This ESC has definitely picked up my racing level couple notches all on its own. I just got the Cayote Crest 8 EVO for my truggy. I tell everyone that you got to try the Cayote Crest 8 or Crest 8 EVO. ether works great.
If your wanting one of the nicest Esc ever get a Cayote . This thing is a monster and can be tuned for anything .
I have been using the Cayote 1/8 ESC for over 9 months now and have had nothing but a positive experience with the ESC. It is smoother, faster, and runs cooler than other ESCs I have tried previously. The app and built in bluetooth is an awesome feature, I love being able to adjust my ESC parameters on the fly from the drivers stand. I can 100% with confidence recommend the Cayote line of electronics to anyone looking for performance and reliability for their 1/8 or 1/10 scale programs.
