The CEN Matrix E 1/10 RTR 2WD Electric Buggy combines a brushed power system, rear-wheel-drive layout, and independent suspension in an off-road buggy platform. It features an RS-550 high-torque brushed motor, a HobbyWing ESC, and a Savox steering servo. The low-center-of-gravity composite chassis, metal-geared transmission, and adjustable oil-filled shocks provide a solid foundation for off-road driving. Finished with a pre-painted buggy body and rear wing, the Matrix E brings together a purpose-built buggy design with ready-to-run convenience.
About the Matrix E 2WD Buggy
Brushed Power System
The Matrix E is powered by an RS-550 high-torque brushed motor paired with a HobbyWing 60-amp ESC. The ESC is water-resistant and features dust-proof protection, automatic throttle calibration, and safeguards against low battery voltage, overheating, and throttle signal loss. The Savox steering servo and the AMP30 three-channel radio system provide control, with transmitter adjustments for steering dual rate, endpoint settings, and digital trimming. Additionally, the AMP30 features a built-in failsafe to add another layer of protection during operation.
Racing-Spec Body & Tires
The Matrix E features a pre-painted racing-spec buggy body and rear wing, giving it the appearance of a purpose-built off-road buggy. Its 2.2-inch racing-spec tires are paired with stylish wheels, complementing the buggy's low-profile design. The combination of the body, wing, and wheel-and-tire setup carries the racing-inspired styling throughout the vehicle.
Drivetrain & Suspension
The Matrix E uses a rear-mounted motor and 2WD drivetrain, with a high-efficiency transmission featuring full metal gears and a slipper clutch system. The low-center-of-gravity molded composite chassis is supported by precision ball bearings and includes a high-torque servo saver horn and easy-access battery tray. Fully independent double-wishbone suspension is paired with big-bore, oil-filled adjustable coilover shocks featuring oversized shock bodies and hardened steel polished shafts to complete the suspension setup.
