I purchased two of these batteries in December of 2020. Both were below typical storage voltage (3.46 vdc - 3.68 vdc/cell). No big deal, but on the initial charge (charging at 1C) I found that the internal resistance was very high. Battery 1: cell 1 - 34.9 m?, cell 2 - 32.9 m?; battery 2: cell 1 -38.3 m?, cell2 - 33.1 m?...no bueno. I have been using lipos (flight packs) for many years and have never seen internal resistance that high on new packs. In fact, I retire my packs well before they degrade to that point. Spend a little extra and get a higher quality pack.
I give this battery one star because the included adapter will not plug in to traxxas products, I have both the rustler4×4vxl and the traxxas aton and it will not plug in either
Fantastic battery so far, getting one hour plus run time run time in my TRX-4 Bronco. The included adapter fits Traxxas high current plugs.
Reviewers report mixed experiences with this 2S 7.4V 5200mAh LiPo pack. One reviewer praises long run times, around an hour, in a TRX-4 and says the included adapter fits Traxxas high-current plugs. Two reviewers rate it poorly. One reports very high internal resistance on new packs, bought in December 2020 and stored below typical voltage. Another reports the included XT60-to-Traxxas adapter would not plug into Rustler 4x4 VXL or Aton models. The reviews disagree on the adapter fit, and the sample is small, so the overall picture is uncertain.
