The mat itself is great and an amazing addition to my workbench. The only reason i gave it 3 stars is because once i took it out of the packaging, there were black marks across it and a small tear to the white layer towards the bottom of the mat. Couldve happened during shipping but not sure. Just a bummer to buy a brand new mat, only for it to not be in a brand new condition.
This works well to stop metal screws from just rolling off. They can move, but not much and they certainly won't fall off. The material while away the oil and grease from the bolts. I think the white color also helps to see the parts. If I could write and erase on this, I could mark the bins on the Pit Mat so I knew what I put in them.
