About the Battle Axe 3.0
Offset Center Pivot for Superior Drive-Off
One of the most critical updates in the Battle Axe 3.0 is the offset center pivot. By shifting the pivot point to the left, the car gains traction and stability through the turns without needing excessive chassis wedge. This design enhances weight distribution by increasing left front weight, resulting in better corner entry and improved mid-corner rotation. Lightweight Chassis for Maximum Efficiency
The new chassis design has undergone a significant weight reduction, especially on the right side. All unnecessary material, including obsolete NiMH battery cutouts, has been eliminated to concentrate weight on the left side. You will not find a more complete kit than this. Its an awesome car that doesnt break the bank and still very competitive. Over all workmanship in the design of this car is A plus. We have a few in our racing stable ?
This chassis is competitive straight out of the box. It’s fast and handles great. I had a few issues with mine tho. 1) I was missing a small hardware bag in my kit. Amain sent me reply right away. 2) the rear body post mounts are plastic! Fragile and on my kit, the holes didn’t line up with the carbon cross brace. They also broke after one crash. Do yourself a favor and buy the red aluminum servo mounts. It’s the same shape part and way more durable.
