About the MetriCKs Pan Car Kit
Caster and Camber
The MetriCKs features CRC's Ultra-tune suspension system, allowing for precise and easy caster and camber adjustments by simply changing the lower C/C plate. For example, a "4 -1" plate provides 4 degrees of caster and -1 degree of camber, while a "5 -.5" plate offers 5 degrees of caster and -.5 degree of camber. Even after repeated impacts, your settings remain unchanged, ensuring consistent performance. With a wide range of affordable C/C plate options available from Team CRC, you can achieve perfect caster and camber without the need for a setup station or expensive gauges.
Suspension
The MetriCKs offers versatile suspension tuning with front-mounted side-to-side roll springs that separate roll stiffness from center and bump stiffness. For those who prefer a more traditional setup, the side roll springs can also be mounted in the rear. The car features an easily adjustable rear center spring for setting preload, battery height, and bump stiffness. Adjusting the battery height and droop is a breeze—use a hex head from the top to control preload and tweak the limit set screw from the bottom to fine-tune the car's down travel. This setup ensures quick, precise adjustments for optimal performance.
Weight Tuning
A key objective for the MetriCKs is achieving a low center of gravity. The tungsten weights are positioned flush with the chassis bottom, not stacked on top of it or the battery plate, placing the ballast at the lowest possible point. This design, combined with the car's lightweight build, results in an exceptionally low center of gravity, enhancing stability and performance.

What an amazing kit, first 1/12 scale I've built in years. Everything went together perfect doesn't come with a spur though, highly recommend if your wanting to get into GT12 racing
Absolutely incredible chassis for the money. This was my first 1/12 pan car kit and assembly was straightforward, everything fit perfectly, and Frank’s YouTube assembly tips were incredibly helpful. Out of the box, the car needs nothing aside from a driver to be fast, though the kit setup is definitely geared towards black carpet. It’s also very durable. Hits that bend the kingpins will generally not tweak the top deck(and bending a kingpin is hard to do). The caster/camber blocks eliminate the need for a lot of extra costly setup tools. For $100+ less than the competition I can’t think of a reason most any driver would want more. This thing is the ultimate club racer’s dream. Take that saved cash and put it towards tires and racing!
The 26' kit is the best value for the money for 1/12 kits. It's simple, logically laid out, tunes quickly, and just fast. No gimmicky fragile suspension design like other brands. No cheesy dampers that pop out all the time. The dampers are also removable so their easy to maintain or tune, and also a bonus you can use the same grease as your king pins. The king pin mounts are solid as a rock and not fiddly to adjust like the other brands. Solid steel front axles instead of easy to bend aluminum ones. Steel axles also allow you to run the more robust bearings too. This car is a tank and the car to get for 26'
