DuBro Body Reamer & Scissors Set

I’ve always used sharp scissors and drill bits to cut up my bodies... and it was perfectly serviceable. Until I decided to pony up for this set. These are kinds of tools that once you purchase them, you kick yourself for not getting them sooner. I didn’t know what I was missing! The short straight set makes precise straight cuts easy, the short curved set makes curves easy for all but the tightest radii. I’ve only had on super tight radius that was a bit challenging. That said, it came out ok and would have been near impossible without a jagged cut then deemed sanding drum before. The reamers are great! Take your time and let the readers ream without forcing them through and they make holes clean and easy.. Bottom line: for the price, you can’t beat this set. Are there better tools out there? I’m sure... I haven’t personally tried them yet, and some of those prices make my eyes water. Unless you’re professionally painting bodies in high volume, get this set without a second thought and save yourself time and frustration with your poly/lexan bodies.

For the price these are great! I knew I was buying a budget set but was surprised how well the work.

Real nice for the price. I would say if you're looking for scissors to open packages plastic ones these are not the ones. These are great for cutting small items up or cutting lexan body. Perfect for that. Of course they will work for anyting. But for long cuts I would look for a longer set of scissors. There is another brand On A Main Hobbies Kyosho I think makes a nice long scissor.. but I am thrilled with these because they are high quality, stainless steel, they cut nice, they very sweet. And then the the hole router is terrific with a nice handle with lots of grip

The reamer was dull and useless. Tried several times, even with a pilot hole drilled, the reamer produced no results. I had to drill my holes. Shameful product.
