At the old price of $28 this was an okay tool kit, I would recommend it. At the new price of $41, I think you can find much better options.
Changes directions while using, very cheap quality handle
Ok is all, was expecting better for the price and reputation.
I haven't found a screw or nut on any of my RC vehicles that this kit won't handle. Good start for anyone
Works great! I have put a lot of torque on these parts, and the ratcheting feature within the handtool hasn't failed. I use it on an ARRMA Mojave, TRAXXAS Sledge, and a few others... breaking torque and re-torquing hasn't been an issue. Even the slightest "bit" size has lasted. The only fading has been the blackened color.
Reviewers generally view this 24-piece metric and SAE startup tool set as a decent entry-level kit for RC use. Several praise its ability to handle common screws and nuts on various vehicles, and one reports durable ratcheting and small bits holding up under high torque. Criticism centres on the handle, which one reviewer says is cheaply made and can change direction during use. Value is a recurring point of disagreement: some felt it was reasonable at its earlier price of about $28, while others said the roughly $41 price is hard to justify compared with alternatives. One reviewer noted the blackened finish has faded. Ratings range from 2 to 5 out of 5, and several reviews were from verified owners.
