The plane was crashed and destroyed on first flight. As soon as the plane was in the air it was oscillating like crazy on the ailerons and went into a dead stick roll while confirmed to be in safe select mode. I’ve been flying eflight bnf plains for over 5 years now and never had an issue like this.
I ordered this plane 2-3 months ago as it was on sale. After I ordered it, I found out it was out of stock, and on back order. They thought another shipment was coming in soon, but those were already sold to other customers. They still honored my sale price and now it just arrived, a little earlier than the expected date and I was surprised. It's winter now so I can't fly it for several months but I'm happy to have it !
Can't write a review of any significance. Only received the package a few days ago. Have not yet opened he box. It was what I ordered and the package arrived with no visible exterior damage. I only gave it a 4 rating as it was on backorder for months.
Amazing plane. It was a breeze to assemble and set it up. Had my first flight yesterday and it was so much fun. Tried safe and felt so boring, next sec was out of it and unleashed it's full potential. Next flight will try high rates. Thanks Amain for having it in stock and sending it so soon.
Great service and fast delivery. I love the Eratix as a great 3D plane. Lightweight and flies well
Reviewers mostly praise the Eratix for easy assembly, fun 3D flying, good power and throw, and suitability for beginners and experienced pilots alike. Several note it is not the lightest in its class, and one reviewer reports it was delivered without visible damage. Delivery and service from the seller are described as fast, though one reviewer had to wait months on backorder. Problems raised are a servo that failed after a few flights, a Safe setting that arrived configured upside down and could not be reset on a BNF unit, and one report of an oscillating, uncontrolled first flight leading to a crash with the plane confirmed in Safe Select mode. Several reviews are from buyers who had not yet flown the aircraft, so the picture of long-term reliability is limited.
