The E-flite® Micro Boeing™ 787 Dreamliner™ Twin 30mm EDF BNF Basic Electric Jet Airplane is an officially licensed Boeing scale reproduction of one of the most advanced and versatile airliners in service. Designed as a compact and convenient way to enjoy an airliner flying experience, it combines detailed scale styling with a twin 30mm EDF power system and performance that goes beyond what its small size might suggest. The factory-assembled aircraft is equipped with a Spektrum™ receiver featuring AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies, along with real-time telemetry capabilities when paired with a compatible transmitter. As a skill level three model, it is intended for intermediate pilots who already have experience with similar class aircraft.

About the Micro Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Twin EDF Power & Telemetry

The Micro 787 uses twin 30mm fans powered by factory-installed brushless outrunner motors, with compatibility for popular 3S batteries. This combination delivers strong speed and performance along with longer-than-average EDF flight times for a model of this size. The control unit incorporates a Spektrum receiver and dual ESCs and provides real-time power-system telemetry, including overall battery voltage, current draw, and other information when used with compatible Spektrum DSMX® and DSM2®-equipped transmitters.

AS3X & SAFE Select Technology

The factory-installed Spektrum receiver gives the Micro 787 both exclusive AS3X technology and optional-use SAFE Select technology. AS3X works in the background to smooth the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a more stable, locked-in feel that can make the aircraft feel more like a larger airplane. SAFE Select can be enabled or disabled with a transmitter switch and provides pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling for additional flight assistance. Its automatic Hand Launch Assist mode can also sense the force of a hand launch and add up-elevator for several seconds, helping the aircraft establish a higher climb angle during launch.

Durable Construction & Flexible Options

The Micro 787 combines a lightweight EPS airframe with molded-in scale details, plastic-reinforced nacelle bottoms and wingtips, and composite reinforcements throughout the airframe for a strong and stiff structure. The factory-applied paint and decals mimick the Boeing demonstrator trim scheme, while functional LED navigation, strobe, and landing lights add to the scale presentation. Fixed landing gear with simulated gear doors and strut covers, along with a steerable nose wheel, allows the aircraft to take off and land on smooth surfaces. When flying from grass or for increased speed and performance, the landing gear can be removed and the Hand Launch Assist Mode can be used for easier hand launches and landings.
