High-Performance Micro Aircraft with Iconic Styling

The E-flite® Micro P-47 Thunderbolt Bind-N-Fly Basic Electric Airplane is a scaled-down version of the iconic WWII fighter, combining a compact size with a range of functional scale features. The fully molded EPO airframe includes molded panel lines, machine guns, composite reinforcements, LED navigation lights, functional flaps, and retractable landing gear with a steerable tail wheel. A factory-installed brushless power system with a four-blade propeller is compatible with popular 3S batteries, while the installed Spektrum receiver and Avian® Smart Lite ESC provide advanced control and telemetry capabilities.

About the Micro P-47 Thunderbolt

Fuselage & Authentic Design

The Micro P-47 features a fully molded EPO airframe designed to be strong and lightweight, with plastic and composite reinforcements throughout. Its factory-finished, fully painted and decal-trimmed fuselage includes molded-in panel lines, machine guns, and other surface details that closely resemble the appearance of the full-scale P-47 Thunderbolt. Functional retractable landing gear and a steerable tail wheel allow the aircraft to take off and land on smooth surfaces, while the gear can remain retracted for hand launching and belly landings over grass. Functional flaps provide shorter takeoffs and landings along with improved slow-speed performance, and LED navigation lights add further scale realism.

Brushless Power System & Electronics

The factory-installed brushless outrunner motor drives a four-blade propeller and is designed for use with 3S batteries, providing performance suitable for scale-like flight, sport flying, and aerobatics. Six factory-installed servos control the ailerons, elevator, rudder, and flaps, while the 15-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC provides real-time telemetry data including battery voltage, current, and motor RPM through compatible Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters. The installed Spektrum receiver uses 2.4GHz DSMX technology and includes fly-by range telemetry, while its Smart Transmitter File can automatically configure settings such as switch assignments, rates, expo, telemetry, and voice callouts on compatible NX and iX series transmitters.

AS3X+® & Optional-Use SAFE® Select

The installed Spektrum receiver features enhanced AS3X+® technology, which works behind the scenes to smooth the effects of wind and turbulence and provide a locked-in feel during flight. Optional-use SAFE® Select adds pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling, with the ability to turn the technology on or off using a transmitter switch. Together, these technologies are designed to make the Micro P-47 easier to fly while retaining the ability to operate without SAFE Select when desired.
