Contrary to the first review, I have two of these planes and both fly beautifully. One for recreational flying and the other is used for search and rescue as well as fire spotting in rural areas. They are not made for speed and not very powerful on 3S but will soar extremely well with a little lift. They do better on 4S if loaded with camera gear and flight controllers. In stock form on 3S they can be thrown, but if heavy with gear 4S with a catapult launch or high start is needed.
I have two waiting to be parted out? Have decided against that. Do not risk your good camera gear. The first crash came after a 45 yard run on a very light trolly. Never got off the ground into 5 mph head wing ??? I must have done something wrong?? Maybe the BEC did not set to full?? I pulled the Parts thinking I might use them again. It crossed my mind that it was under powered. The next one had a channel that was bad. If you were a beginner you would never have figured it out. It had the proper CG. The next one did the exact same thing after a 50 yard role. I think the air frame is good. I have even thought about changing every. I bought another 2 scale planes made buy the same company. Really! They few well until a AL servo went done. I have thrown all four planes in the trash. Not even worth salvage. Parts can not be trusted. They are cheap Chinese junk. It was to good a deal to be true.
