The E-flite SE5A Bind-N-Fly Electric Biplane brings a refreshing view on an old classic! Often referred to as the “Spitfire of World War One” and considered by many pilots to be the best British single-seat fighter of the time, the Royal Aircraft Factory (RAF) SE5 was instrumental in regaining and maintaining allied air superiority in mid-1917. E-flite has faithfully recreated this with many scale details including the iconic pilot with a scarf! Either scale flying or stretching its legs, the SE5A has something for every pilot to enjoy.

Scale Details
This biplane features many scale details including molded-in ribs, radiator and exhaust details, machine guns, and a pilot figure with a scarf, plus optional-use elastic flying wires. This plane also features functional details like large scale main wheels and a hidden steerable tailwheel, along with wings and struts that bolt and snap into place for easy assembly and disassembly.
Performance
When people see an RC biplane, especially a WWI biplane, you might not be thinking of aerobatics. The SE5 pushes the limits of what you might expect this plane capable of. While fully designed to give a modern take on vintage performance, this plane excels at scale flying and giving a realistic look in the air. This BNF Basic version is also equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum AR631+ receiver featuring exclusive and enhanced AS3X+ along with optional-use SAFE Select technologies.

Great flyer right out of the box. Did not have to trim the plane. Easy to build. Only issue was the wrong manual was sent. Contacted Amain hobby and was directed to Horizon. They sent me a link for an electronic manual. Requested a hard copy, but never received one. Staff at Amain hobby were very helpful. Again, GREAT flyer.

This plane is just plane sexy . Flying beutaful.on assembly. Put top wi g struts on first before I atall of lower wing. Oh the manual was for a different plane. Manual that was sent in the box was a 1.7 timber. But I went on line and down loaded manual for biplane. Built model in about 2 hours. I chose to bind plane manually. With nx8 transmitter. Anyway she has it all . With reverse thrusts naturally.
