These batteries run for quite awhile. Picked some up for the kids rc's so I don't have to worry about or monitor their LIPO handling. We also have a 7-cell nimh from Ecopower that works great as well. I even enjoy using nuimh sometimes because you can just keep charged on hand for instant playing and then not have any lipo balancing for storage mode afterwards etc.after driving. Life gets busy so options are great!
Been Around Rc (Planes, Cars, Boats) For Many Years and bottom line, LIPO Batteries are Expensive, Delicate and dangerous. I Can Get a hour of Drive Time with The NiMh batteries in the Fazer Cars, So Why risk it... The Cars even Drive better with the heavier battery..
Great battery pack. No problems. Long life. Using it for off road trails and touring car.
All three reviewers rate this 6-cell NiMH stick pack 5 out of 5 and report no problems. Reviewers say it runs for a long time, with one reporting about an hour of drive time in a Fazer car. Two reviewers prefer NiMH over LiPo for its simpler handling, lower risk, and no balancing or storage-mode routine, and one says the heavier pack helps handling. One reviewer uses it in off-road trail and touring car applications, and one mentions an EcoPower 7-cell NiMH pack that works well. The reviews are short and come from a small sample, with no criticism raised.
