Love this unit works amazing im a noob and it made things really easy having such great performance. I like the compact design personally. Plenty of power heats up quick.
Coming from the world of cheap non adjustable 30w soldering irons this is a MUST! I am so glad I finally took the plunge and got a decent iron!! I always thought I couldn't solder worth a crap but as it turns out it has been my iron all along! This unit is nice! Comes with a sponge and steel wool to clean the tip and a nifty little compartment in the back to hold and feed your solder. The built in alligator clips are a must! This thing gets hot fast and heats up in seconds unlike my old little 30w that took several minutes and quickly ran out of heat. If you like me and still using a cheap iron just do yourself a favor and upgrade to this unit you will thank me later!
I purchased this after my basic iron that I used on my workbench gave out and am glad it did. This is very nice, heats up quickly and is just easy to use. The built in "extra hands" and solder dispenser are things I didn't know that I needed until now.
