I can confirm what another reviewer wrote: does NOT slip in and out of the Micro B like the stock battery does. The top electronics plate does have to be unscrewed (2 screws) and hinged back because this battery is about 5mm or 6mm longer than the OEM Spektrum battery.

Battery seems to deliver more punch than the OEM unit. I bought it as a secondary so I can always have one good to go. The fit is tight though. I had to shove it into the battery tray, haven’t tried to take it back out yet but I imagine it’ll be difficult.

The battery is good but does NOT slip in and out of the Micro B like the stock battery does. I bought this as a spare so i could extend sessions. You have to unscrew the plate the ESC/receiver sits on and hinge it back to get it in.

Had to buy a replacement after the stock spectrum battery from my Micro-B ballooned out and died .Couldn't have been charged more than 10 cycles. I think the issue is with the usb charger and I won't be using it anymore. Unfortunately the adapter I need so I can use a quality charger is on back order right now. Otherwise, fits fine. Just two screws and you're done. I also like the Batt to ESC wire connector better than the Specktrun one. It's easier to remove. The Spektrum one always gave a fight. One small issue I did find is that the charging wires are a little shorter and don't clip onto the retainer but it doesn't affect the body's fit on the car at all so no biggie. Until I get my hands on a reliable charge lead I can't comment on the performance but I trust what the other commenters have said.

Don’t buy these. Literally died less than a month. Complete JUNK

What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the battery does not slide in and out of the Micro-B like the stock pack; fitting it generally requires unscrewing the top electronics plate (two screws), hinging it back, and sometimes forcing the pack into the tray. Opinions on performance differ: one reviewer found more punch than the OEM unit, and another praised the wire connector as easier to remove than the Spektrum one. Reviewers also note the charging wires are slightly shorter and do not clip onto the retainer, which one considered minor. One reviewer said the pack would not fit a Micro-T without damaging wires. One reviewer reported failure within a month, and another reported the stock pack swelling; the single 1/5 rating cites early death without detail. Fit and reliability are the recurring concerns.

  • + More punch than the OEM battery
  • + Easier-to-remove battery to ESC connector
  • + Fits Micro-B with plate hinged back
  • − Does not slide in and out like stock pack
  • − Tight fit, may need forcing into tray
  • − Charging wires short and do not clip to retainer
  • − Reported early failure in one review
