About this part

Simple, Versatile and LiHV Ready!

This is the EcoPower "Electron 44 AC" LiHV/LiPo/LiFeMulti-Chemistry AC Battery Charger. Every hobby enthusiast is unique, each with their own specific needs and expectations. Not everyone needs a professional grade, high performance battery charger, while others simply don’t want to spend big bucks on the latest “flavor of the month”. The common thread between these customers is they both want a reliable and affordable charger that can charge anything and at the same time provide consistent performance. EcoPower is ready to deliver with the Electron 44 AC!

The EcoPower "Electron 44 AC" is an electronically controlled single port balance charger that features a high performance microprocessor, combined with specialized operating software that allows you to reliably charge batteries of varying chemistry's and cell counts. Multiple charge modes, a 4S cell Lithium limit and an internal lithium cell balancer are only a few of the features that make this charger a powerful and flexible tool for any RC enthusiast. So stop beating yourself with cheap chargers, and buy from a trusted source that proves itself time after time with outstanding customer service and quality products at affordable prices!

Hi-Voltage Capable
This charger features a Hi-Voltage LiHV mode that allows you to safely charge Hi-Voltage LiHV capable batteries. You can adjust the charging end voltage of this mode up to 4.40V per cell, which is considerably higher than 4.20V per cell of an ordinary LiPo battery. Charging at this higher end voltage requires a Hi-Voltage LiHV capable battery, but the power gains are significant to the overall punch and power for the R/C model. But please note: battery voltages exceeding 4.20V per cell is prohibited from sanctioned racing rules, such as ROAR, IFMAR, etc.

Excellent product, it charged my battery very quickly, very impressed! I love how it tells you how much voltage is in your battery! (I don't know if this is standard, but my old one didn't say)

Just received this little Electron 44AC charger. I have charged several different packs and I am truly impressed how fast it charged my new 4S 500Mah LiPo pack for my airplanes. This AC balance charger with 4 Amps charges plenty fast enough for me and I feel safer with this little guy than high output chargers and separate balancing systems. I have had really great luck with Eco Power batteries and Electronics!

I've only used it for two batteries, I'm kind of new to this, after getting out back in about 82-83. This digital stuff is kind of new to me. But ,,, it works as advertised, so , what else can I say?

What reviewers say

Reviewers largely praise the EcoPower Electron 44 AC charger for fast, straightforward charging of LiPo, LiFe and LiHV packs in the 2-4S range, with several noting it works as advertised and offers good value. Some describe it as a good starter or primary charger for smaller packs, and one reviewer valued its voltage display. One reviewer, who rated it 1/5 and reported the charger produced no output after a second use with different batteries, disputes this. Overall ratings are high, but the single report of failure is unresolved in the reviews.

  • + Fast charging
  • + Easy to use
  • + Supports LiPo, LiFe and LiHV
  • + Good value for the price
  • − Reported failure to produce output after second use
  • − Only 4A output suits smaller packs
