About the WP173-X24 Servo
Design
Unlike all other traditional servos on the market, the EcoPower WP173-X24 micro Servo features a first of its kind innovative built-in direct axle and links mount system that revolutionized the game by allowing the WP173 to be directly mounted to the SCX24 axles with no need for a servo mount! This brilliant mounting system provides a sturdy and rigid fit with extra clearance between the chassis rails!

Whether you are into hardcore Comp rock crawling, backyard crawling or just hitting the trails, a high-torque and speed steering servo will always be at the top of the upgrade list, especially for rigs with heavier tuning weights and wheels! Gears stripped a couple months in warranty does not cover gears and from what I can tell they don’t sell replacement gears?
Im only 3 batteries in and already need a gearset !!! Just normal crawling with an scx24 gladiator!!! Im hoping its a fluke...very disappointed to say the least!!! Was on stock v2 esc so not a good sign if you want to run it at 8.4v....bummer.....Update... Amain was very quick to warranty the servo and make it right !!
Seems to be a great servo good power nice quality, but unfortunately doesn’t work with the MEUS Scx24 axles the dif cover plate contacts the link mount that is on the servo and won’t allow you to mount this servo on that axle. Will mount on stock style axle and dif covers.
Awesome upgrade for the scx24. Direct fit and easy to install
Didn’t even make it 2 months. The direct mount to stock axles was nice but wouldn’t buy this again.
