Unlike all other traditional servos on the market, the EcoPower WP827-X24 micro Servo features a first of its kind innovative built-in direct axle and links mount system that revolutionized the game by allowing the WP827-X24 to be directly mounted to the SCX24 axles with no need for a servo mount! This brilliant mounting system provides a sturdy and rigid fit with extra clearance between the chassis rails!

The installation is easy and the extra clearance you get is awesome, however, my servo is not as powerful as I would have liked. My rig has a lot of brass and weighs 406 grams. This servo struggles to turn the tires and it's really slow. I ended up removing it and installing a cheap Emax servo and I was amazed that the Emax servo has no problems turning the wheels from lock-to-lock. It's a shame because the specs seemed good, but in the end I'll probably not use it again. Perhaps it works better on a stock rig that isn't loaded down with brass. Update 09/30/2024: I was contacted by Brian in customer service as he was concerned that I wasn't 100% satisfied with the servo. He felt that I may have gotten a faulty servo and offered to send me a replacement. The replacement was delivered within a few days and I immediately installed it in my SCX24. The new servo worked brilliantly. It had plenty of torque - it did not struggle turning the heavy wheels and I was impressed with the speed for an affordable servo. I changed my rating to 5 stars because the servo works very well and A-Main's excellent customer service is second to none.
It should be noted that this doesn't fit the MEUS Racing Isokinetic axle - the spacing of servo mount screw holes on the axle are slightly wider than stock and don't line up with the mounting holes on this servo. Put it on a stock axle, but this seems to have as little power as a stock server. Should call it Eco(lackof)Power.
I bought this to replace a dead stock servo. It works well and mine seems stronger than the factory servo...but I can't use it. It doesn't fit the B-17 Betty version that I have. It runs directly into the receiver/front shock mount like it would in a Deadbolt (but they say the Deadbolt is the only one it won't fit). Also, the wires are way longer than they need to be. It also doesn't come with a screw to mount the horn to the servo and the stock servo horn and screw don't fit it. My regular EcoPower 827 with aluminum mount in my other SCX24 is definitely stronger.
Perfect servo upgrade for my 24. Dropped right in and is way better than the stock servo. Love that it includes the aluminum servo horn too.
Fits good but sucks rampcrab and meus way more tourq my rig is just to heavy for this servo
