Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit
About this part
Conversion Kit Overview:
Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit. Completely redesigned from the ground up. With zero bump steer, increased suspension travel, linear slider steering rack, improved ground clearance and approach angles on front arms and skid plates, the IFS2 is a huge improvement in both performance and scale looks. The included linear steel slider steering rack gives the IFS2 suspension a precise, solid feel with zero bump steer. Symmetrical upper and lower arms along with flipped lower pivot ball mount allow for more travel and 45 deg. steering throw. Convert your rig from a straight axle setup to an independent front suspension with this IFS2 kit and experience scale realism and performance at its highest!
Note: In certain applications, it might be necessary to reverse the orientation of the differential to ensure that the front tires rotate in the correct direction.

Massive upgrade over the stock ifs1 yes it does come with plastic shocks but i just kept my aluminum stocks on it. It does have plastic links but the stock metal can be swapped over. It eliminates steering slop an way more durable then if1
Super easy installation! Put this on my Ecto/Gatekeeper in 45 minutes. The rotation is backwards for my element but I simply turned the rear differential inside the housing and we back in businesses. Looks great, drives great, and more ground clearance.
It’s a cool kit I’ve followed Camburg racing on real trucks for a lot of years so I had to have this! Like others said the shocks sucks so I used the ones off the Trailwalker I did the conversion on. One problem I ran into is the spring rates are way to soft on a trailwalker and even the element yellow stiffest are not quite strong enough to set a decent ride height without maxing preload so I went to a softer rear for more sag so far it’s awesome ! Was skeptical of an Ifs crawler but it works well . Note they make a black spring that’s twice as stiff and came in the v1 maybe that’s the fix for ride height but feel that rate will be to much since it’s double of the yellow rate
Pretty expensive option for plastic body shocks and steering links, not a fan of the steering rack either. It does make huge improvement in clearance and bump steer. I swapped out the plastic body shocks with the model's original aluminum ones. You have to use the original shock shaft and piston assembly but everything else from the plastic body shock. I'll probably swap out the plastic links also.
Easy install, but manual lacks info on flipping rear diff ring gear in Knightrunner, otherwise axles rotate the opposite direction.
Eight verified owners rate the Element RC Enduro IFS2 conversion kit between 3 and 5 stars, with most praising easy installation, improved ground clearance and articulation, and better durability than the IFS1 setup. Reviewers agree the included plastic shocks and plastic links are weak points, and several replaced the shocks with aluminum units from other models. A recurring issue is that the rear differential ring gear rotates the axles in the wrong direction, which the manual does not explain; owners fixed this by repositioning the gear. Some report the spring rates are too soft for ride height on certain trucks, and one reviewer noted a delayed delivery but good packaging. The steering rack drew one critical comment.

- + Reduced steering slop and bump steer
- − Plastic shocks and links included
