EMAX EZ Pilot Indoor FPV RTF Drone
About this part
The EMAX EZ Pilot is arguably one of the most intuitive and easy to use small drones available on the market. With simplistic controlls, and providing an entertaining flight experience through First Person View (FPV or "VR"), EZ Pilot allows beginner pilots to dive into the world of flight with a micro drone, all from the comfort of their own home.
The FPV goggles provide real time communication to the included camera on the EZ Pilot drone, allowing users to feel the immersive nature of flight as if you were sitting in the cockpit.
Smart features such as self leveling, smart height assist, and EZ One Stick Control allow pilots to focus on flight, rather than mastering the control aspect of flight first. EZ One Stick Control is a custom mode that allows users to steer in any direction the way they want to go without the typical need to manage two inputs like on larger more sophisticated drones. Newcomers can easily learn how to pilot EZ Pilot in a matter of minutes.

Reviewers generally rate the EMAX EZ Pilot Indoor FPV RTF Drone well, with two of four 5/5 reviews praising its value and suitability for new pilots, and one 4/5 review calling it fun to learn. The one 2/5 review reports goggles that connected intermittently at first and then stopped connecting, showing only a black screen with channel and frequency numbers. One reviewer also mentioned paying about $40 at the post office, apparently for import or delivery charges, though the review does not clarify the cause. The sample is small, so these views may not reflect the wider ownership experience.
