Exotek Angled Clamp On Fan Mount (Blue) (540 Can)
About this part
The angled design allows easy mounting of fans in 2wd buggies and trucks with 'lay down' style gearboxes. For sedans, the secure bracket holds the fan at a distance from the armature to avoid the magnetic fields of the motor disrupting the fans motor (too close and the fan does not operate at full rpm's). The mount can also mount the fan at the end bell in cramped 4wd buggies by using camber shims for spacing (not included).
Features:
- Extra modular design means with a few adjustments you can mount a fan securely in just about any 1/10 car or truck
- Designed for use with high power 30mm fans
- Choice of polished and anodized black, blue or orange for a custom look
- Fits standard 540 sized 35.8-36mm diameter brushless motors

Fits all the newest and fastest motors like the R1 and Team Scream perfectly. You can really get creative with the modular design with how you want to position the fan. I add scrap lexan and sticky tape it to the fan to blow air directly through the motor vents. Solid mount!
Great way to add a fan to any motor. Works great machining looks nice, overall a solid purchase.
This mount works great. No installation issues and it has flexibility to be installed in many different orientations. It took me a few tries to figure out how to make the fan mounted the way I wanted but it worked out great. I used it on a TT-02.
Great product, no hesitation to recommend. Means you can place the fan(s) wherever you want, and it will stay put. Not the most modestly priced product I ever purchased, but they just work, and keep on working. What else is there?
Does not fit my Orion 17.5 stock motor. Too large update since my last review I’ve changed motors and it fits all of them nicely. It’s a go to Mount when servo tape won’t work
Reviewers generally rate this clamp-on fan mount highly for its adjustability, with several noting it can be positioned in many orientations and stays put once set. Several confirm fitment on 540-can motors including Team Scream, R1, Hobbywing 3665SD, Reedy Sonic 540-M4 and Castle 1410 series. One reviewer reported it would not fit an Orion 17.5 stock motor, later saying it fit other motors. Installation was described as straightforward, though one reviewer needed several attempts to find their preferred layout. The main recurring concern is durability under hard impacts: one owner reported clamping threads on the 1.5mm bolt tearing out in a basher, and another said it moved slightly in hard hits. Reviewers also note the price is higher than some alternatives.
