Sooooo much lighter than stock, and soooo much quieter. Paired with the exotec light weight driveshaft, it's a rocket out of the corner compared to the stock steel stuff. No complaints
It’s light and quiet, works well with brushless setups too. I’m happy with it!
Fits perfectly and definitely a noticeable weight difference. Running on 3s and so far so good. I even attempted a couple 4s pulls, too insane, but it did hold up on full throttle. I'd be curious to see how it would hold up to an off-road type Grom instead of the NASCAR on asphalt. It's also WAY quieter, which is nice.
All three reviewers are verified owners who rate this 59-tooth Delrin spur gear 5 out of 5. They agree it is noticeably lighter and quieter than the stock steel gear and that it fits well. One reviewer ran it on 3S and reported it held up at full throttle during brief 4S pulls, while another paired it with a lightweight driveshaft for improved acceleration. One reviewer wondered about durability in an off-road Grom rather than the NASCAR on asphalt, which was not tested. No complaints or recurring problems were reported. The sample is small, with three reviews.
